Sona Lou Plyler
Sona Lou Plyler, 84, died in her sleep in Little Rock on Monday, December 28, 2020, after a long battle with Dementia. Sona was born in Delta County, Texas on May 13, 1936, to Tom and Flora (Wheeler) Isbell. Sona retired from the UAMS Transplant Department. Until recent years, she was active in her churches, Trinity UMC (LR) and First Christian Church (LR) where she served as a Deacon. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Tom Isbell, sisters Virginia Stone and Ruth Carlson, and daughter in-law Libby Plyler.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank Plyler; three sons, Steve, Phil (Tammy) and Greg Plyler; grandchildren Chris Plyler (Lori), Kara (Morgan) Gary, Sarah Beth Plyler and Tanner Milligan (Alexa); two great grandchildren all of the Little Rock area; sisters Shirley Lightfoot of Angel Fire, NM, Winona Blackwell of Paris, TX, Barbara Khaled of Ft Worth, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
