Andy Ray "Motor Doc" Yandell
Andy Ray “Motor Doc" Yandell, 69, of Conway, Arkansas, departed this life on October 5, 2020 . Of baptist faith, Andy follows his mother, Alma Rainey and twin brothers, Arvin and Ervin Yandell, to join our Savior.
Andy is survived by his wife of 29 years, JoAnn Yandell; his sister, Edi Korgan; his daughters, Laura Hampton (Jason), Sharon Kovar, and Krisit Dodson; his step children, Greg Herring (Maree) and Suzanne Higgins (Danny), 7 grandchildren, Jackie, Jeremy, Leigh, Laura, Aaryn, Chris, And Brianna, and 7 great grandchildren.
Andy had a quick mind and was a problem solver. He started his career as a mechanic and discovered a talent for fixing things.
He became a respected employee of the US Postal Service and earned a well-deserved retirement. Throughout his life, Andy pursued many hobbies, including ham radio, camping, hunting, fishing, marksmanship, and stock car racing.
He was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation, as well as a good husband, a caring father, and a well-loved Pawpaw Andy to his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed.
