He passed away May 21, 2019 at Salem Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He is preceded in death by his mother and father, sisters Margaret, Marilyn and Carolyn, and the love of his life, his wife Janie.

Arnold graduated from Kosciusko High School in Kosciusko, MS.  He attended Belhaven University in Jackson, MS and Mississippi State University in Starkville, studying engineering.  While at Belhaven, he met Janie and they were married June 17, 1960.  They were blessed with one daughter, Jill Lotz, of Conway, Arkansas.

Arnold is survived by Jill, sisters-in-law Kay Harris and Liz Foster, his nephew, Jonathan (Daphne) Harris, his niece, Stephanie Harris, great nephews Mason Shortt and Beres Shortt, and great niece Makaila Harris, as well as special friends Ricky Havens and Mary Kay Rolla, and faithful furry friend, Grits.

Arnold was a gentle soul with a kind heart and a dry sense of humor.  He loved the Lord, his family and friends, a good meal, reading, playing bridge, and watching Mississippi State play football and basketball.  He and Janie ran The Wooden Cupboard together for many years, with Arnold building items and Janie finishing and painting them.  Arnold retired from IC Corporation in 2008.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Conway Regional and Salem Place for the loving care that was provided.
