Roger Dale Smith, 59 of Conway, AR passed away in his sleep on Friday, April 5th, 2019.

He was born to Robert 'Pop' Smith and Helen Shofner on December 16th, 1959.

If you knew Roger you would be sure to know he was the go-to guy for anything automotive. He was a mechanic by trade. He had the ability to fix almost anything and if couldn't fix something he would try.

He was an Auxiliary member of the VFW of Conway, AR. If you saw him at the VFW you could be sure he had a cold beer in his hand, plenty of friends near by, and was enjoying the music. If he wasn't enjoying the music you could be sure he would tell you as much.

He was proud of his family. He was sure to tell people about his daughter Susan Smith and her children Jaznor, Ashlin, and the twins Trey and Abby. His other daughter Fawnda Macias and her children Devin, Bailey, Tacara, and DJ. Or even his son Nathan Smith. He was also known as Papa Bear to Brandi Elliott and Jessy Southall.

He is survived by his children Susan Smith of Wooster, AR, Fawnda Macias (Daniel) of Trumann, AR and Nathan Smith of Hattiesburg, MS. His brothers Marty Smith (Sonja) of Kellyville, OK, Victor Smith of Conway, AR, his sisters Marie Tucker (Raymond) of Conway, AR, Floy Smith of Conway, AR. His 8 grandchildren and 2 fur grandchildren, 3 nieces and 2 nephews. And his many friends.
