William Winton "Bill" Jackson
William Winton “Bill” Jackson, 73, passed away February 13, 2019, at his home in Conway, AR, with his family by his bedside. He was born in Corsicana, Texas, on June 9, 1945, to L.R. and Mildred Winton Jackson. Bill was a Christian. His belief in his Creator was reflected in his kindness to others and devotion to family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a dedicated Arkansas Razorbacks fan. In later years when his physical abilities became limited, Bill developed an interest in art, especially pen and pencil and ink etching. His life-long career was spent in food management.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Bowles, brother Reese Jackson, and nephew, Wyatt Bowles. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Loretta Paladino Jackson of Conway; daughter Tiffany Stroud (Marty) of Conway; granddaughters, Alexa and Juliana Stroud; his sister and brother-in-law Sylvia and Tony Stone of Bowie, Texas; nephews John (Stephanie) Stone of Princeton, Texas, David Stone of Palm Springs, California, Jason (Ashley) Bowles of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Brad (Lyndsey)Bowles of Charlotte, North Carolina, and his brother-in-law John Bowles of Charlotte, North Carolina. Bill is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Michael (Earlene) Paladino, Nathan (Mary Jean) Paladino, and Rita (Joe) Allison of Center Ridge, Arkansas, Clara (Tim) Garvey of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Theresa Paladino of Morrilton, Arkansas. He will be missed by many nephews and nieces and their extended families, and friends and relatives.
Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, March 2, 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church/Parish Hall, Center Ridge, Arkansas.
