William “Bill” Earl Moreland

William Earl Moreland, 85, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2026.

Bill was born on December 18, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee, to William Earl Moreland Sr. and Mary Francis Etzberger. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and after his military service, built a long career as a long-distance truck driver, traveling countless miles across the country. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Jeanette Ann Moreland née Stevens; his daughters, Heather Moreland and Jessica Moreland Long and her husband, Mark; and his grandchildren, Meredith and Paul.

Bill never met a stranger. He loved his family deeply, had a special affection for animals, and leaves behind countless memories and funny stories.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Rosewood Cremation and Funeral, 438 Highway 64, Conway, Arkansas 72032. Please join us in celebrating a life well lived.
