William “Lewis” Humphreys Obituary (1945 - 2022)

Lewis Humphreys, 76, of Chickalah, formerly of Hollis, Arkansas passed away on April 4, 2022 at Conway Regional Hospital. He was born November 6th, 1945 in Eugene, Oregon. Lewis was retired from Superior Graphite in Russellville. He spent his retirement traveling the country with Barbara, hunting, fishing, gardening, perfecting his beer making skills, and story telling. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, William "Sam" Humphreys and Ruby Humphreys; his son, Russell Humphreys; his brothers, Carl Humphreys, Leslie Humphreys, Jerry Humphreys, and Eddie Glascock. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara; his daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Campbell and Mary Thompson; his grandchildren, Perry Graves-Humphreys, Payton Thompson, Tyler (Johnny) Day, Samantha (Bailey) Henry, Ashton Thompson, Bailey (Sunny) Graves-Humphreys, Aaron Campbell, Ava Thompson and Myah Thompson; his brother Lloyd Humphreys; his sisters Rachel Schouten and Minnie Lunsford, brothers; Bobby Humphreys and Loyd Humphreys, and nine great grandchildren.
