Vivian Lively Obituary (1941 - 2023)

We are gathered here to celebrate the generous, loving, and compassionate life of Vivian Lively, who was born on July 25, 1941, in Roland, AR, USA, and passed away on July 13, 2023. Vivian was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Perryville, Arkansas, where she resided. Her life reflected the kindness and humility taught in the scriptures, and she held dear the promise of Revelations 21:3 & 4, that God will one day wipe away every tear and death will be no more. Vivian worked as a cafeteria cook in the Little Rock School District before her retirement. She was known for her delectable meals, but more so for the warmth and care with which she served every student. Vivian was married for 58 years to the late Glenn Lively, and their love story was one of commitment, understanding, and shared joy. Vivian's legacy continues in the lives of her children, Terry Elrod, Jerry Lively, and Donna McGhee and her sister Ruth Forrester. She was a doting grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt to a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Renfro and Josie Holland; her beloved husband, Glenn; and her siblings, Joe, Gene, and Judy. Vivian's life was a testament to the power of love, generosity, and faith. She touched countless lives through her kindness and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
