Tracy Long

–

Center Ridge, Arkansas

Tracy Jo Long, known affectionally as Tracy, was born on February 17, 1967 in Eureka Springs, AR. On September 27, 2026, Tracy, an adventurous spirit, dedicated daughter, loyal friend, and thoughtful soul, completed her earthly journey. With a heart as big as her native Arkansas, Tracy made an impact on every life she touched. As the American author Mark Twain once said, "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." In many ways, Tracy's purpose was to make others feel seen, heard, and loved.

In her hometown of Conway, Arkansas, Tracy was known for her warm and welcoming smile at the local Waffle House. She spent four years as a waitress, serving up comfort food and compassionate conversation. Beyond her professional life, Tracy was an ardent Dallas Cowboys fan, her enthusiasm for the team was infectious. Her love for her beloved dogs, Maddie and Sophie, was unparalleled. They were not just pets to Tracy, but her 'girls,' her family. Her zest for life was evident in her adventurous spirit and her loyalty was reflected in her dedication to her friends and family.

Tracy is survived by her father and stepmother Jim and Sharon Long of Roger’s, AR; two sisters: Sheila Warrell of Bella Vista and Whitney Long of Rogers, uncle and aunt Danny and Carolyn Barron of Bentonville, AR. She was a cherished friend, especially to her best friend, Rebecca Tutt. Tracy's thoughtfulness extended to her numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and the countless customers she served at the Waffle House. Tracy's life was a testament to the words of Mother Teresa, "Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier." Her legacy of love, loyalty, and thoughtfulness will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate to have known her.

She is preceded in death by her mother Janet Dills.

Tracy's life will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 2:00pm at Rosewood Cremation & Funeral, 438 U.S. 64, Conway, Arkansas, 72032. In honor of Tracy's fervent love for the Dallas Cowboys, attendees are requested to wear Dallas Cowboy attire to the Celebration of Life.
