Tony Judson Holley, born on July 11, 1935, to Florence French Holley and William Tom Holley in Botkinburg, AR, passed away on March 18, 2026 at the age of 90 surrounded by his family. He was a compassionate and courageous soul who walked this Earth with a heart full of generosity and thoughtfulness. His faith was his guiding light, a beacon of hope that shone brightly in every interaction. Tony was a previous member of Bono Baptist Church and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. His profound love for Jesus Christ was his compass, guiding him through life's ups and downs. His commitment to sharing his faith was unwavering, always willing to share the way to Heaven with anyone who would listen. His favorite verse was Matthew 25:23, "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'"
Tony spent his working years as a heavy equipment operator with Dr. Porter Rogers Farm in Searcy. Mr. Tony being such a great worker Dr. Porter soon moved him to the head of his cattle operation. From the mid to late 60’s Tony also helped his brothers Donald and Luke in the logging business. It was in 1968 when Tony went to work for Baker Construction in Clinton as lead dozer operator until 1976. He was the one who helped build all the roads into Fairfield Bay, just as they were beginning to make it a city. Tony also cleared out to build the Old Indian Rock House, in 1976 he went to work for Charles and Fred Burnett Construction as lead dozer operator out of Greenbrier. He also worked for Ronnie Everett and Danny Mallett Farms until his retirement. He enjoyed finding satisfaction in the hard work and camaraderie of the job. He was a man who took pride in everything he did, whether it was operating a dozer or tending to his beautiful garden at home. His gardening achievements were notable, from a sunflower taller than him with a head larger than a basketball to mouth-watering watermelons. Tony was a man who, with his beloved wife Eula by his side, proved that when they put their minds to it, there was little they couldn't grow.
However, Tony's most cherished role was that of a family man. His faith in Jesus Christ was paramount, but his family was his worldly joy. The love story he shared with his wife, Eula, was one for the ages, and their reunion in heaven is sure to be a celebration of eternal love. His children, were his pride and joy.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 53 years Eula Gardner Holley, three brothers, Donald, Luke and Lloyd Holley and one sister: Dorothy Holley.
He is survived by his children: William Holley (Cherre) of Greenbrier, Bonita Howland (Marty Eades) of Des Arc, four grandchildren: Brandon Holley (Crystal) of Springdale, Brent Holley (Bailey) of Greenbrier, Tanner Howland (Diane) of Conway, Macey Cox (Toby) of Holland, eleven great grandchildren: Ashlyn and Judson Holley, Carson, Tyler and Tucker Howland, Alivia, Samuel and Cooper Cox, and Josie, Jaycie and Jett Holley, niece, Casey McClendon, great nephew, Skyluar McClendon, along with a host of other nieces, nephews and friends that he loved very much. Even when his health was fading, the sight of his grandchildren and great grandchildren could ignite a spark in his eyes like no other.
The family wants to especially thank Tony’s hospice nurses Dyanah and Brook, for their loving care and guidance to the family. We will be forever grateful.
