Steven George

–

Conway, Arkansas

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Steven Brian George, born on November 6, 1958, in Pampa, Texas. This humble and loving soul, known for his adventurous spirit, departed from us on September 4, 2026, leaving behind an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. He lived a life full of love and service, and his memory will forever be cherished.

Steve was a man of great character who lived life on his own terms, navigating the world with an adventurous spirit that was truly inspiring. He spent much of his life on the open road as a truck driver, challenging the vastness of the country, meeting people from all walks of life, and collecting countless stories along the way. In his retirement, he resided in Conway, Arkansas, indulging in his love for watching TV and playing dominos. He and his beloved wife, Betty, were faithful givers to Andrew Womack ministries for many years, a testament to their dedication to their faith and community. To quote Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." This sentiment encapsulates Steve’s approach to life. His family was the love of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Steve is survived by his loving spouse of 29 years Betty George, daughters: Amy Bagley (Doug) of Alma, Kathy Marshall of Russellville, sister: Ava Westbrook (Stephen) of Ward, grandchildren: Hannah Wright (Andrew) of San Diego, Hayden Bagley (Reagan) of Springdale, Christopher Marshall of Russellville, great granddaughters: Lilah and Lucy Wright of San Diego, along with many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Beatrice George, and brother Bruce George.
