, 1953 in Conway, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth D. Ray. Steve worked for Arkansas Best Freight "ABF" for thirty years and retired in 2003.He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and fishing with his buddies on Lake Conway. But most of all he cherished his time with his grandchildren, "the triplets".

Steve is survived by his wife, Sherry of Vilonia, AR; daughters, Stephanie Havens (Nicky) of Vilonia, AR, Shana Ray of Little Rock, AR; Grandchildren, Sophie, Sadie, and Spencer Havens; mother Betty Ray of Conway, AR; and his ABF family.

There will be a casual get together Saturday, June 15
