Shannon Wyatt

–

Conway, Arkansas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Shannon Ward Wyatt on September 4, 2026 at the age of 57 years old. She was born on October 18 in Brinkley, Arkansas.
Shannon was one of those rare people who could make you feel like you had known her forever. She had a heart for people and a generosity that seemed to have no limits. Whether you were family, a lifelong friend, or someone she had just met, Shannon had a way of making you feel seen, heard, and cared for.
She was full of life, laughter, and personality. Shannon had a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humor, and a gift for conversation. You would often hear her saying, “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.” She could talk to just about anyone, about just about anything, and somehow leave you smiling. Her front porch was often her favorite place to be, where she would spend hours visiting with whoever stopped by and sharing conversations that could be funny, meaningful, or a little bit of both. And, of course, she was able to find the purse dog she always wanted, Question. He was never far from her side.
Shannon's compassion was at the heart of everything she did. Using her skills as a pastor, she spent much of her life listening without judgement and encouraging others to be the best version of themselves. She had a genuine desire to be there for people during their hardest moments, offering the kind of understanding and support that came naturally to her.
But more than anything, Shannon loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she cherished every one of them deeply. She leaves behind a family who will carry her love, her laughter, her stories, and all the little pieces of her that made her so uniquely Shannon.
She is survived by her daughter, Brooke Alexander (Caleb) of Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming; her son, Dane Wyatt (Carrie) of Vilonia, Arkansas; her siblings, Blaine Ward (Mary) of Conway, Amy Roberts (Bobbi) of Conway, and Shea Riggin of Farmington; and her grandchildren, Kennedy Alexander, Maycee Wyatt, Zada Wyatt, Case Wyatt, Wrigley Wyatt, and Oakley Wyatt. She is also survived by her best friend, Jennifer McMillian of Conway, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.
Shannon made her home in Conway, Arkansas, for the past 10 years, where she continued to build friendships, love her family, help others, and simply be herself. She was a one-of-a-kind, vibrant soul who could not be replaced. Her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Shannon was preceded in death by her parents, Verdie and Evelyn Ward; her son, Seth Wyatt; her brother, Carter Ward; and her grandson, Cooper Wyatt.
Although our hearts are broken by losing Shannon, we are grateful for every moment we were given with her. We will remember her laughter, her stories, her kindness, her humor, her big heart, and the way she made people feel loved. We will remember the conversations on her front porch, the comfort she offered, and the joy she brought into ordinary moments.
A Celebration of Life for Shannon will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood Cremation & Funeral, located at 438 U.S. 64, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Those who knew and loved Shannon are invited to visit her memorial page, share favorite memories and photos, and help celebrate the remarkable woman she was. In sharing our memories of Shannon, we keep her spirit, her laughter, and her love close to us.
