Samuel Lara Romero

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved angel, Samuel Lara Romero, born on July 8th, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and received his heavenly wings on July 10, 2025. Samuel, a light that shone briefly but brightly, will forever be cherished in the hearts of his parents, Roberto Lara and Ana Romero of Conway, Arkansas.

In the words of Elizabeth Edwards, "She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her away, she adjusted her sails." In this challenging time, we hold on to this sentiment, finding strength in the love we shared with Samuel, however ephemeral. Samuel, our infant angel, may not have had the chance to make a mark in the world in the traditional sense, but he indeed touched our lives in profound, indelible ways. His presence, may have been brief, but it reminded us of the preciousness of his life. His absence, though painful, reinforces our faith in love and family.

Alongside his loving parents, Samuel leaves behind his caring sister, Janelle Lewis, grand parents: Bertha Aguirre of Conway and Jose Romero of Conway along with several, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Each of them carries a piece of Samuel's short but meaningful life in their hearts and memories.
Samuel is preceded in death by his grandmother Maria Lara.
They will honor his memory and celebrate his life during a graveside funeral service on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM , at Crestlawn Memorial Park, 472 U.S. 64, Conway, Arkansas, 72032.
