With a heart as warm as an Arkansas sunset and a spirit as vibrant as a vinyl rock and roll record, Ronald "Danny" Sebourn danced his way into the great beyond on February 14, 2025. Born on November 28, 1954, in Little Rock, AR, Danny spent his 70 years living life to the fullest and adding his own unique rhythm to the soundtrack of life.
Danny was a compassionate poultry farmer who truly loved the land and the life it fostered. A man of the soil, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, namely farming and spending time with his cherished grandchildren. Danny was equally renowned for his unyielding support of the Razorbacks and his penchant for old rock and roll. He preferred his music like he preferred his life- on a vinyl record, full of passion, surprises, and an easygoing rhythm. Mark Twain once said, "The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation," and Danny embodied this sentiment through his love for his work, his hobbies, and his family.
Danny leaves behind a loving family who will carry on his legacy and continue to dance to the beat of the music he left behind. Surviving him are his beloved wife, Velma Sebourn; his sons, Clinton (Vanessa) Sebourn and Shaun Sebourn; his daughter, Amber (Josh) Hanna; his grandkids, Adison (Quintin) Baker, Levi Hanna, and Koda Hanna; and his faithful granddog, Daisy. He reunites in the great beyond with his parents, Daniel and Laura Sebourn, his sisters Brenda Thompson and Carolyn Sebourn, and his loyal canine companion, Sugar.
While we may miss Danny's physical presence, we take comfort in the fact that his love for life and his unique charm continue to resonate in the records he left behind. As we remember Danny, we encourage all who knew him to share their memories and photographs on his memorial page. Let's celebrate Danny's life as he would have wanted - with joy, laughter, and a good old rock and roll record playing in the background.
