Ricky Miller

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ricky Miller, a beloved brother, uncle, and partner who left us on June 17, 2024. Born in Morrilton, Arkansas on March 4, 1960, Ricky remained a proud Arkansan throughout his life, a self-described "good ole boy" from Hillcreek. He was an embodiment of compassion and support, consistently putting the needs of his family and friends before his own. Ricky was a retired electrician from Koontz Electric, a role he took great pride in, as his work ethic was second to none. His love for his craft was only surpassed by his love for his family, which was always at the heart of everything he did.

Ricky was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting in the Plumerville Bottoms and fishing, hobbies that allowed him to merge his love for nature and his desire for tranquility. His retirement allowed him more time for these pastimes, which he cherished deeply. Ricky was widowed, having previously been married to the late Tina Wilhite. Despite the challenges life threw his way, Ricky remained positive and resilient, often reminding those around him that "the best way to predict your future is to create it." His life was a testament to this belief, as he left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Ricky leaves behind his father, Michael Miller; his sister, Sylvia (Kenny) Epperson; his domestic partner, Sandra Huett; his nephew, Clint Epperson; and his niece, Courtney (Nathan) Foshee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jenwyl Miller, and his wife, Tina Wilhite.
