Morrilton, Arkansas
In the wake of a life richly lived and generously shared, we mark the passing of Peggy Yarbrough, who departed from us on January 6, 2026. Born on August 9, 1960, in Pontiac, MI, Peggy brightened the world with her loving and compassionate spirit. Her life was a testament to the verse from the Book of John in the Baptist faith, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another" (John 13:35). The love she held for others was evident in every facet of her life.
Peggy was a pillar of strength and kindness in her community of Morrilton, Arkansas. Her dedication to helping others was reflected in her professional life as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she provided comfort and care to those in need. This same compassion was echoed in her personal life, where she made her house a sanctuary of love and warmth. Peggy had a unique ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, and her home was a testament to her meticulous attentiveness and nurturing nature. She had a fondness for gardening, and just like her beloved plants, those around her thrived under her nurturing care. Peggy also had a special place in her heart for her cats, whose company she greatly cherished.
Peggy leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Robert Yarbrough, who was her rock and confidant. Their enduring love story is one that will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew them. She is also survived by her cousin Gaye Strait . Peggy was preceded in death by her son, Lacy Yarbrough, mother, Deloris, and her brother, Eugene Owen. Her loss is deeply felt by her family and those whose lives she touched with her unwavering love.
In keeping with Peggy's legacy of love and care, we invite you to share your cherished memories and photos of her on the memorial page. Your stories will serve as a celebration of the remarkable life she lived and the love she so abundantly shared.
