Nicholas Grassi

–

Conway, Arkansas

Nicholas Alexander Grassi, known to all as Nick, was a man of adventurous spirit, a loyal friend, a loving family man, and a beacon of intelligence. Born on January 6, 1981, in Greenville, Mississippi, Nicholas carried the vibrant energy of his birthplace throughout his life. His journey on Earth, filled with love, laughter, and an insatiable curiosity, came to a close on January 12, 2026. His legacy, however, continues to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Nicholas was an embodiment of adventure, his spirit as untamed as the wind. He reveled in the thrill of the open road, the hum of his motorcycle beneath him a symphony to his ears. His intellect served as a compass in his adventurous pursuits, manifesting in his passion for racing and building RC cars. However, his adventurous spirit was not confined to hobbies alone. Nicholas was a brave explorer of life, a man who dared to tread uncharted territories of the heart. His marriage to Vaunda Grassi on June 20, 2025, marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life, one filled with love, companionship, and the joy of being a stepfather to JT Bell and Danielle Aikins.

Nicholas was a man of extraordinary love. His love for his wife, stepchildren, and his treasured dogs, Marvin and Stella, was as profound as the ocean. Loyalty was etched in his character, demonstrated by his unswerving dedication to his family, including his father David Grassi, mother Wanda Emmenegger, sister Nicole Hammock, brother-in-law Chris Hammock, and nephew Ethan Hammock and grandmother; Ludie Terry. His relationships painted a picture of a man who was as Ernest Hemingway once said, "The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice."

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2:00pm CST at Rosewood Cremation & Funeral, 438 U.S. 64, Conway, Arkansas, 72032. We encourage you to share your memories and upload photos of Nicholas to his memorial page, as each memory serves as a thread in the beautiful tapestry of his life. His story is not just told through his actions, but also through the lives he touched.
