Nelson Martin

Nelson Dale Martin was born on October 03, 1971 in Witchita, KS; a son of Bill and Venetta (Wills) Martin. Nelson was welcomed home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the age of 50.
Nelson was a member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy, AR. Nelson was a simple man and main priority was living as Christ would. He honored his wife as the Bible told, just as Jesus Christ loved the Church. Nelson loved his family immensely and his friends as if they were family. He looked forward to attending his weekly Wednesday night church group to learn about the bible and fellowship. His hobbies included catfishing and crappie fishing, hunting, and dirt track racing. Nelson will be a light in the world to be missed; his memory will be treasured in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Nelson is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Estel and Mary Wills; paternal grandparents: Nelson and Hazel Martin.
Nelson is survived by his wife: Marilyn "Crickett" Martin; sons: David Coffman, Andrew Coffman and wife Brooklyn, Kenneth Coffman and wife Amber; daughter: Shannon Heather and husband Paul; parents: Bill and Venetta Martin; brothers: Jack Martin, Mike Martin; sisters: Brenda Rumpf, Kelly Long, and Angie Poplin; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with in-laws, extended family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy, AR on Friday, July 08, 2022, 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Gary Burden.
