Nathaniel Fay Austin Obituary (2019)

Celebration of Life/ Place: Russellville Country Club/ Date: Sunday, November, 24, 2019/ Time: 2:00- 4:00 pm/ Nathaniel Fay Austin, 75, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, November 21st at his home in Russellville. He was the son of Conley Faye Austin and Virginia Lee McCormick Austin and brother to Edward, all of whom predeceased him. He is survived by his partner, Judy Rae Lawton; daughters Allison Nicole Austin, Keely Rochelle Austin, and Laila Mae James; son-in-law, John Puhr; grandchildren Alex and Evan Austin-Puhr; brother J.L. Austin and his wife Rebecca; Judy's son Darin, his wife Kellie, and their daughter, Everleigh Lawton; an aunt, Bonnie Lewis; and cousins, nieces, and nephews. Nathan attended college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, UAMS in Little Rock, and had a private medical practice for over 32 years in Russellville. He was a generous father and friend, an avid golfer, an artist, and dedicated doctor and surgeon. A celebration of Nathans life will be held at the Russellville Country Club, Sunday 11/24 from 2:00-4:00 pm. All are invited to attend; casual attire. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to CARTI Foundation or charity of your choice.
