Michelle Antoinette Tackett

Michelle Antoinette Maddox Tackett, lovingly known as Tonie, passed peacefully on March 4th, 2026 at the age of 57. She was born December 28th,1968 in Greenville, MS to parents Noel and Carla Maddox. She made her home in Mt. Vernon, AR for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noel Maddox; her brother, Alfredo Maddox; her grandparents, Kile and Bessie Maddox, Alfredo and Antonia Ghelardi; her aunts and uncles, Licia and Burnell Broecker, Luigina and Jerry Quinn.

Michelle is survived by her mother, Carla Maddox; Sisters, Maddalene Deaton and husband, Gene; Christina Tullos; her children Courtney Millsaps and husband, Drew; Lindzee Bridgman and husband, Eric; and Zane Tackett; nieces, Gena, Noelle, and Briana; nephew, Casey; numerous cousins; 8-Grandchildren Tristen, Landen, Emerson, Lucas, Eli, Chloee, Lillee, Wrenley.

Michelle (Tonie) was a beloved Mother, Nonna to her grand-babies, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. She had a firey soul and an endless love, especially for her family and those she loved. She admired the beauty in all the things around her. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She was always helping others every chance she could. She had an immense love for her children, grandchildren, animals, all things outdoors like fishing, occasional hunting, riding horses, traveling, fun filled days at the lake, cooking, dancing, talking to her loved ones and friends, watching the storms roll in and she was always excited for a shopping trip. Her favorite titles were Mom and Nonna.Those titles filled her life with more joy and happiness than words could say.
