Michael Hendricks

–

Morrilton, Arkansas

Michael Joe Hendricks, a compassionate and loving soul, born January 2, 1963 in Morrilton, Arkansas, departed this life on May 12, 2026 at the age of 63. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart," and Mike embodied this sentiment. He was a dependable figure who demonstrated thoughtfulness in every aspect of his life, from his work as a Supervisor Maintenance at Wayne Smith Trucking to his hobbies and personal life.

In his leisure time, Mike was an avid outdoorsman who relished hunting, fishing, and woodworking - a skill he proudly claimed to have inherited from his father. He found solace in the tranquil beauty of nature, and his creations mirrored his deep appreciation for the world around him. Michael was a devout follower of the Baptist faith, his love for the Lord was profound and unwavering. Yet, what mattered most to him was spending time with his family. His loved ones were the light of his life, and nothing came before them.

Michael leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his beloved mother, Lula McCoy, and his cherished wife, Donna Hendricks three sisters: Sherri Hendricks, Tina Jimenez (Jesse) and Cindy Pearson (Bill), brother: Sonny Hendricks of Cleveland, step daughter; Kasey Parker (Casey) step son: Jason Henderson; four grandchildren: Alexia Henderson, Paizley Derline (Seth), Madison Brown, Kendall Brown, one great grandson: Kayson Derline, along with many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Hendricks and sister Regina Hendricks.
He will be remembered as a reliable and thoughtful individual who brought warmth and joy to all who were fortunate enough to know him. As George Eliot once wrote, "Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them," and Michael's memory will certainly live on in the hearts of those he loved.

In honour of Michael, we invite you to leave your memories and upload photos to his memorial page. It is through these shared moments that we can celebrate the life of a man who touched so many with his compassionate and loving spirit.
