With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Marvin Ellis Berry, who left this world on February 3, 2024. Born on January 9, 1933, in Mayflower, Arkansas, Marvin was a courageous, loving, funny, and spirited individual. He lived a vibrant life that left an indelible mark on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He was a beacon of strength and resilience in the face of adversity, a quality he showcased in his battle with cancer, which he fought with a steadfast resolve that left everyone in awe.

For over 29 years, Marvin devoted his life to the service of others in his role at Bear Automotive Equipment Co. where he specialized in automotive diagnostic equipment sales. His passion for his work was evident, and he was highly respected in his field until his retirement in 1995. Despite his professional achievements, what mattered most to Marvin was his love for Jesus and his family. His relentless pursuit of unity in his family was a testament to his character. In the words of Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Marvin's love for his family was one such beautiful thing, felt deeply by all who knew him.

Marvin is survived by his son John Berry, his grandson Blake Berry and his granddaughter-in-law Sarah Berry. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn Berry, his parents Violet and John Berry, and his siblings Colleen Young, Robert Berry, John Marion Berry and Kattie Berry. Marvin's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him back with equal intensity. He was a man of immeasurable courage and love, leaving a legacy of unity and family bonding.
