Linda Tilley

Linda Diane Tilley was born in Helena, AR on April 27, 1950 to Clarence and Aubrey (Hale) Campbell Wilder. Linda passed away in Conway, AR surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the age of 72.

Linda was a 1968 graduate of Wabbaseka High School. For the past 10 years, she was a resident of the Faulkner County area. Prior to returning to Arkansas, Linda retired from a supervisory position at Chase Manhattan Bank in Monroe, Louisiana. Linda's fulfilling career in business administration allowed her to establish lifelong friendships in Arkansas, Ohio, and Louisiana.

To her family she was a "lil lady with big shoulders". Linda would always rise to any occasion and never backed down from a challenge. One of her most rewarding challenges was carrying the title of "Nana" to her 6 grandsons: Spencer Donaldson, Logan Donaldson, Dillon James, Devin James, Cody Cloinger, and Sebastian Yeggy. She thought her hands were full with all her grandsons but then her granddaughter, London "Precious" Yeggy came along to give her a run for her money.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing Skip-Bo, and trying out new recipes. Making her spicy chicken wraps always guaranteed a visit from her grandson, Devin. She always kept the rivalry strong with her siblings or anybody that dared to play card games against her. She took her "champion" title very serious. Linda enjoyed the simple things in life like eating pizza and just spending time with the ones she loved.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, George "Joe" Tilley; two daughters, Melinda Leigh of Pine Bluff; Leslie James of Conway; and a special niece, Kim Alexander from Livingston, Louisiana that was like another daughter; 3 sisters, Reba Reynolds of Maumelle, Patsy Orcutt of Malvern, and Wanda Neldon of Rogers. Linda is also survived by her grandchildren; her two great granddaughters, Hayden and Charleigh and two great grandsons, Peyton and Kohen; as well as other extended family and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Connie Polito.
