Conway, Arkansas
Kimberly Ann Hall was born August 25, 1963, in Conway Arkansas to Don and Evelyn Knopp Hall. Kim departed this world on August 11, 2026, in Conway at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 14 days. Kim was a 1981 graduate of Greenbrier High School. During her time there, she was Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen, and Panther Queen, thus being teased for being a triple crown winner well into her adult life.
Kim Hall loved sports and played them with determination and grit. The girl was a scrapper. She had golf, softball, basketball and even a bit of rugby under her belt.
Kim graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She said, in nursing you would never get bored because you could change from one area of specialty to many others. She worked in Labor and Deliver/Post Partum while in nursing school and quickly learned that was not an area she would choose to pursue any further once she obtained her license. As a new grad, Kim was hired to work CVICU at Baptist Health. During this time, her grandmother came to live with her and her mother and required attention that was difficult for Kim to give her while working 12- hour shifts. At this time, it best suited the needs of the family for Kim to work closer to home and have a more flexible schedule. Home Health was the best option for her needs at this time. That company dissolved so it was time for a new work home. She found it in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. A few years later, a new interest caught her eye…Flight Medicine. At this point, Kim became an EMT for the 2 nd time. She served several years in that capacity working at Air Evac 30 in Vilonia as a flight nurse then at Air Evac 40 in Harrison as Base Nurse Supervisor. Her next nursing adventure was a CCU Clinical Coordinator where she was allowed to mentor and teach. Kim Hall loved to teach. Her love of raising baby nurses and those with less experience played out even farther when she transferred to the Education Department at Conway Regional. She was able to earn them a seat on the Little Rock Critical Care Committee, which provided top-tier educational offerings to member facilities. Kim was an Emergency Department manager for 2 hospitals as well as being heavily involved in the implementation of the Arkansas Trauma System and an active member of the North Central Arkansas Trauma Advisory Counsel. Kim’s nursing eye next focused on rehabilitative medicine and became the manager of the rehab hall at Ozark Health Nursing and Rehab Center. She later dipped her toe back into the Home Health pool. Lastly, on Kim’s list of specialties to conquer was hospice. Kim truly cared for patients in all stages of life, from birth till death, during her 36-year nursing career.
Kim was quite active in the pre-hospital world as well. She served on the conference planning committee for several years. During that time, she created a nursing CEU track so that nurses attending the EMS conference could obtain educational credits needed for re-licensure. She was also a charter member of the Arkansas EMS Foundation; a professional organization aimed at financial assistance to those beginning or advancing their EMS career and benevolence assistance for those in EMS that have suffered catastrophic situations. Kim was an active board member of AEMSF until her death. In 2007, Kim was chosen as Arkansas EMT of the Year. In 2008, she was awarded National Association of EMT’s, EMT of the Year. She was also a first responder and EMS Captain of the Center Ridge Fire Department until work obligations made it necessary to resign that position.
Kim Hall was an avid bicyclist. She loved riding one of her bikes for up to 20 miles any time she got an opportunity. Fifteen to 20 miles was a fun little ride for her. She also loved to fire up the ole John Deere mower and giving the grass “a good haircut”. Kim loved her flowers and enjoyed gardening. Each year she would try a new variety of plant, just to see if she could grow it. She took joy in her “critters” and loving and playing with them and each of them loved her as much as she loved them. Being a fisherman was next on her list.
Kim was a Christian and dedicated member of Greater Purpose Fellowship. She took and great joy in attending services and studying God’s word.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, mother and beloved and adored brother Mark.
She is survived by Laura Guthrie of Center Ridge, Martha Hall Singley (Larry) of Nashville and a host of dear and loving friends.
