Judy Cobin

–

Morrilton, Arkansas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Cobin, a compassionate and courageous woman who touched the lives of countless individuals throughout her life. Born on January 8th, 1955, in Conway, AR, Judy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unyielding zest for life. Her courage was an inspiration to all who knew her, and her thoughtful nature made her a beacon of comfort and support within her community. She passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the age of 71.

Judy was a loving wife, having spent forty incredible years of marriage with her beloved husband, Michael Cobin. She was a dedicated employee, having worked at the Conway Human Development Center in the dietary department before her well-deserved retirement. Her love for crossword puzzles and watching crime shows were a testament to her sharp mind and curiosity. She often joked that she could solve crimes just by watching them on TV. Judy loved nothing more than going on long drives with her husband, appreciating the beauty of the flowers they'd often stop to admire. A long time member of the Hickory Hill Baptist Church, Judy's faith was a cornerstone of her life.

Judy had a heart overflowing with love for her family. The joy her children and grandchildren brought her was immeasurable, truly making her world go around. In the words of Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." This quote epitomizes Judy's view of life, a life lived with an open heart and a spirit of generosity. She always had a smile on her face and was ready to lend a helping hand. Her departure leaves an irreplaceable void, but her memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents William Earl Dail and Alma Vinson Beard, three brothers: Edward Earl Dail, Jackie Dail and Robert Dail.

She is survived by her husband Michael Cobin of Morrilton; children; Temeca Cobin of Morrilton, Tina Jones and husband Sammie Jones, Jr. of Bartlett, TN, Michael Ivy of Russellville, Sisters: Francis Parette of Phoenix City, AL, Louise Nichols of Adona, grandchildren: Terell Canady, Charles Ivy, Colton Ivy, Rhyatt McClain, Madelyn Jones, Sammie Jones III, great grandchildren: Jameson Ivy, Paislee Dalton and Bailey Ivy along with numerous other family and friends.

The visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church, located at 1274 Arkansas 95, Morrilton, Arkansas, 72110. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Old Hickory Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to help assist Michael as he adjusts to life after the loss of his beloved wife. Any donations maybe sent to Cash app:$tjones6714 or
