Joanne Lambert

–

Conway, Arkansas

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joanne Marie Lambert, née Ray, of Conway, — age 49, on March 7, 2026. She was born August 10, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois. Her absence leaves a hole in our lives.

Joanne enjoyed spending time with her family (including her dogs, Bandit and Roxy) and friends, listening to music, and dancing. God was a very important figure in her life. She had a beautiful heart and cared so much for those around her. Her laugh can never be forgotten — vibrant and unmistakable.

If there was a fair of some sort nearby, you can bet Joanne would ask you to come along and get on some rides with her.

In 2018, Joanne found stability in Harbor Home of Conway as they helped her carve a new path for herself she could be proud of. After graduating from the program, she worked as a dishwasher at both Stoby’s Restaurant and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux.

With tenacity and dedication, Joanne committed herself and made certain she was there to walk the stage to receive her Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, with honors of a 3.563 GPA from Southern New Hampshire University, in 2025.

Joanne is survived by her father, William Ray; mother, Patricia Campbell; sister, Jayme Piekal; daughter, Felisha Butler (Brandon), and grandson, Sebastian.

A service to celebrate her life will take place at Rosewood Funeral in Conway, Arkansas, on March 19th from 1 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Last Chance Arkansas, a nonprofit committed to helping abused, abandoned, and neglected animals get a second chance. Their mission was important to her and Joanne’s love for animals, especially dogs, knew no bounds.

We miss her and we are proud of everything she accomplished.
