Janice Tustison

Janice Lynn (Gantt) Tustison of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with her family surrounding her. She was the daughter of Rayford and Oleta Gantt, born in Hammond, Indiana on January 15, 1952.

Janice was primarily a resident of Longview, Texas for the majority of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She was an attorney, owning and operating her own practice for 25 years specializing in probate. Janice had a love for learning new things and a passion for reading anything she could get her hands on. She enjoyed the art of silent films and Charlie Chaplin was her favorite actor. In her later years of life, she became a member of the Montel Williams Multiple Sclerosis Foundation raising awareness for the disease. Janice never met a stranger having the gift of excellent communication. She was an animal lover and had a special love her dog and cat. She had a kind heart, keeping her family and children close. Janice will be missed immensely by those who loved her.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents.

Janice is survived by her soulmate of 15 wonderful years: Robert Smith of Morrilton, Arkansas; husband of many years: Lynn Tustison; son: William Ray Martaindale of Missouri; daughters: Melinda Lasyone, Shawna Martaindale, and Latricia Lee all of Texas; brother: Darrell Gantt of Washington State; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held privately at a later date.
