Jamie Lawrence

It is with both sorrow and joy that we recall the vibrant life of Jamie Lawrence, who was born on November 5, 1971, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and passed away on January 23, 2026. We grieve her absence, but we also celebrate the joy and love she shared with us during her 54 years of life. She was a compassionate soul who loved unconditionally and a generous spirit who gave without expecting anything in return.

Jamie made Perryville, Arkansas her home for 42 years. She married her best friend, Billy Lawrence, on February 20, 1999, and together they built a home filled with love and laughter. Jamie was not just a homemaker, she was the heart of the home. Her love for her family defined her. Her children, Hunter, Gage, and Sarah, were her world. The happiness and well-being of her children mattered the most to her. As Picasso once said, “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” Jamie found her gift in her ability to love and nurture her family, and she gave that gift generously every day.

Jamie had a creative soul and loved to scrapbook. She had the unique ability to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, and her scrapbooks will serve as a testament to her love for her family and her gift of preserving memories. Jamie is survived by her beloved husband, Billy Lawrence, her children, Hunter (Annsley), Gage, Sarah (Rachel Dennison), her brother Donnie Johnson, her father-in-law Bill (Denise) Lawrence, her mother-in-law Joyce Lusinger, and her sister-in-law Elizabeth (Buddy) Shamburger along with a host of friends and family. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Johnson, mother, Betty Johnson, and nephew, Cody Johnson.
