Jack Dalby

–

Conway, Arkansas

Jack Dalby, known affectionately to many as "Randy," embarked on his final SCUBA dive into the great beyond on March 11, 2026. Born on March 8, 1960, in West Monroe, Louisiana, Jack was a charismatic soul with a knack for making friends wherever he went. His generosity was legendary, often seen in the sweets he loved to bring for his nurses. As a loyal friend, he was the kind of guy who would drop everything to lend a helping hand.

Jack served our nation with honor and distinction, first as a part of the Old Guard, then in the Special Forces, earning the Purple Heart among other awards. His dedication to the military was only matched by his love for his family, his dogs, and his myriad hobbies. As a smart and resourceful retiree, Jack kept himself busy with a variety of interests, from gun enthusiasm, SCUBA diving, violin playing, and metal smithing, to riding motorcycles and perfecting his golf swing. He was also an active member of the American Legion and VFW.

Jack leaves behind his beloved wife, Monica Mah-Dalby, and his cherished children Jessica, Katrina, Jack Jr., and Gabrielle. He is also survived by his father, Jack C. Dalby, sister, Becky Sexton, and nephews, Brent Enterkin and Everett Holman. Jack was preceded in death by his Mother, Marjorie Dalby. Known for his generosity, loyalty, and charisma, Jack’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

As it is written in the book of Proverbs, "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." (Proverbs 11:25, NIV) Jack lived these words daily, and his memory will continue to inspire us to do the same.

We invite you to share your memories of Jack and upload photos to the memorial page. Celebrate the life of this remarkable man; remember his charisma, his generosity, his loyalty, and his smart insights. Let's keep the memory of Jack "Randy" Dalby alive in our hearts and minds forever.
