Ima Jo Freeman

Ima Jo Eubanks Freeman was born in Earlsboro, OK on January 29, 1928 a daughter to James Eubanks and Edith Lefler Eubanks. Ms. Freeman passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the age of 94.

Ms. Freeman was a member of Fort Reach Church in Hattieville. She had a servant's heart and she loved the Lord. She longed for the day that she would be able to reunite again with her husband Junior of 69 years and sit at the Saviors feet and hear him say "Well done my good and faithful servant you have been faithful. Enter into the joy of your Lord."

She raised three boys whom she adored while her husband worked outside the home. Ms. Freeman loved gardening, knitting and read several books a week until her eyesight failed her. She always greeted everyone with that beautiful smile and loving hug. These things we will cherish in our hearts forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, four brothers, three sisters, two grandchildren: Joel Freeman and Wendy Clarke.

Ms. Freeman is survived by her three sons: Anthony Lee Freeman and wife Lois of Arlington, TX; James Randall Freeman and wife Tina of Clermont, FL, Michael Linn Freeman and wife Elizabeth of St. Louis, MO; Five grandchildren: Aubrey Bloodwell, Julie Weaver, Christopher Freeman, Ashley Webster, Kali Kilpatrick, ten great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren along with many other family and friends.

Visitation for Ima Jo Freeman will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Fort Reach Church in Hattieville with service following at 11:00am at the church with Bro. Danny Ward officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Scotland, AR.
