Gus Tyrone Strom Obituary (1951 - 2021)

Gus Tyrone Strom, 69, of Conway, AR passed away April 16, 2021. He was born in Pine Bluff, AR on September 6, 1951 to Will and Peggy Lou Strom. In his earlier years he loved drag racing in his spare time. He enjoyed watching movies with his family (narrating whatever show they were watching). Gus needed to see his daughter every day, or know her whereabouts. Family was important to Gus. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Keith Strom. Survivors include two sons, Mark Tyrone Strom and Steven Gus Strom both of Conway, AR; two daughters, Tina (Jeff) Cagle of North Little Rock, AR. Cheryl Highfill of Bryant, AR; two brothers, Barry Strom and Larry Strom both of North Little Rock, AR; two sisters, Yvonne Britton of Pickles Gap, AR, Tammy Brewer of Conway, AR; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Memorial services will be May 8, 2021 from 11:00am-2:00pm at Lake Willastein in Maumelle, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosewood Cremation and Funeral, Conway, AR.
