Glenda Brittain

Glenda Joyce Brittain was born October 5, 1949 in Stevens County Oklahoma to Grover Lawson Thornton and Mary Belle Weathers Thornton. Glenda passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, with her loving family by her side at the age of 73.

Glenda loved working puzzles, doing crafts and quilting in her spare time. Her true love was her family. She adored each and every one of them as they did her. Glenda had a sweet smile and gentle heart and was always eager to help when it was needed.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Kenneth Ray Brittain of Conway, two daughters: Mandy Burton and husband Dennis of Elkhart, KS; Melissa Fodor and husband Jason of Cabot, AR; two brothers: Jim Thornton of Amarillo, TX; Eddie Thornton of Dumas, TX; three sisters: Fannie Cameron (Richard) of Amarillo, TX, Sue Ritchey of Dalhart, TX and Helen Stewart of Melbourne, FL, five grandchildren; Kaitlin Emick, Brittany, Sutphin, Wesley (Kaitlyn) Higgins; Emma Fodor and Isabel Fodor and four great grandchildren; Blakelynn, Everett, Jackson, Annistyn..
