Everett Benton, known affectionately as E.B. to his loved ones, was born on December 4, 1959 in Little Rock, AR, USA. He was a man whose life was an adventure, brimming with charisma, and encompassing a compassionate spirit that touched everyone he met. He was a man who was rough and tough, yet had a heart of pure gold, demonstrating the truth of the saying, "The greatest strength is gentleness." He rode through life on his beloved Harley's, making memories and collecting stories, showing us all that life is not a destination, but a journey.
Everett spent his working years as a farmer, tirelessly cultivating not just the land, but also the relationships around him. He carried his adventurous spirit into his retirement, spending his time collecting clocks, a testament to his belief in treasuring every moment. Despite his rugged exterior, Everett had a soft spot for animals, often going out of his way to help a creature in need. At every turn, Everett lived out the words of Mark Twain: "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."
Everett is survived by his sons, Matt(Audrey) Pearce, Jason Arnold, Tyler(Misty) Southerland, his daughters Misty Anderson, Kelsie Davis, his brother Ronnie Benton, his sisters Linda Taylor, Kim(Paul) Sellers, and his significant other Lisa Coleman. He was also a beloved grandfather to five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He also leaves behind many neices, nephews, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Francis J. (Lynwood) Benton, his mother Ruby Rouse Benton and Rita Gail Benton his sister. Everett's legacy will continue to live on through his family and all those he loved.
Please share your memories of Everett and upload pictures to his memorial page, so we can all remember and celebrate the adventurous, compassionate, and charismatic man he was. His story is not over, for as long as we remember him, his spirit continues to touch our lives.
