Eddie Wayne Smith passed away at his home in Piggott, AR on June 9, 2017. He was born February 17, 1961 to the late Maudie Lorine Burton Smith and C.L. Smith in Kennett, MO. He was 56 years, 3 months, 23 days old. He is survived by one son, Jerry Wayne Smith of Kennett, MO and two sisters, Barbara Green Campbell of Piggott, AR and Sheila Lack of Paragould, AR.

Eddie lived a productive life; he was a father, son, brother, and a religious man. He enjoyed fishing, working outside and spending time with his son Jerry Wayne. Eddie spent 22 years as a supervisor in the Kennett Oil Mill as well as many odd jobs over the years.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Maudie Lorine Burton Smith and C.L. Smith, five sisters, Carolyn Kelly, Norma McCollom, Teresa Burrow, Debbie Kerley, Rhonda Mansfield, and two brothers, Jerry Dale Smith and James Lynn Smith.

Per his wishes, his cremains will be interred during a private service at a later date.
