Carol Roberson Obituary (1960 - 2025)

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Desneiges Carol Roberson, a beacon of love and joy, on February 4, 2025. Born on April 30, 1960, in Memphis, TN, Desneiges lived her life with an adventurous spirit and a thoughtful soul. Her radiant smile and high spirits were infectious, making every encounter with her an unforgettable one. Desneiges had a zest for life that was truly inspirational. She found her joy in the simplest of pleasures; eating at Texas Road House, a day at the beach, or a thrilling moment at the casino. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." Desneiges succeeded in making countless lives breathe easier with her generous spirit and loving heart. Desneiges lived a fulfilling life as a homemaker, sharing her love and warmth with the people dear to her. On February 23, 1989, she married the love of her life, Charles Roberson, and together they built a beautiful life in Hot Springs, Arkansas. With Charles, Desneiges found immense joy in their shared hobbies of hunting, fishing, and camping. She reveled in nature's beauty and the thrill of the chase, always returning home with a captivating tale of her adventures. Desneiges is survived by her loving husband, Charles; her son, George Young; daughters Desneiges Jin (Ramond) and Rachel Garcia (Juvinal); brothers Johnny Leard (Paula) and Dale JR (Alicia); and six cherished grandchildren. She joins her parents, Dale and Patricia Leard, and brother, Michael Leard, in eternal rest. In the words of Helen Keller, "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Desneiges will forever be a part of us, her memory living on in our hearts and stories.
