It is with a heart full of warm, loving memories that we announce the passing of Delta Dawn Vickers on the 8th of February, 2024. Born on the 1st of December, 1976 in Morrilton, AR, USA, Delta was a beacon of compassion. She was the sort of person who could find a silver lining even in the gloomiest of clouds. She was a devoted wife, a doting mother, and a beloved sister. Her smile was her signature, her laughter, her rhythm. She loved to browse flea markets, seeking hidden treasures, and had a known affinity for a good game of chance. \n\n This was a woman who truly understood the value of hard work and the satisfaction of a job well done. However, what mattered most to Delta was her family. She had an amazing knack for connecting with children, her own and others, and her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter. As a wise man once said, "Whoever welcomes one such child in My name welcomes Me" (Matthew 18:5). This verse truly embodied Delta's spirit. \n\nDelta is survived by her loving husband Vernon Vickers, her sister Sandra Mason, her sons Jared (Havanna), Jeremy (Chancah), and Marty (Kena), her daughter Cheyanna Spann, and her brothers David and Jacob Spann. She is preceded in death by her father David Spann and her mother Vada Maxwell Spann. \n\nWe encourage family and friends to share their favorite memories of Delta on the memorial page and to upload photos that celebrate her loving and compassionate life. As we remember Delta, let's not forget her infectious laughter, her warm heart, and her unwavering love for her family.
