Daniel Winnie

Daniel Francis Winnie, 62, of Alread, Arkansas, passed away at his home on April 12, 2022.
Daniel was born on March 25, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan to Martin Emmett Winnie and Helen Francis (Holliman) Winnie.

He grew up and attended school in Humble, Texas with his 5 brothers and sisters. Daniel was a mechanic and carpenter by trade. He was an avid outdoors man with a true love for fishing. In his free time he could easily be found by an open body of water with a fishing pole in hand. However, Daniel will always be remembered as the loving brother and friend he was to so many.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Catherine (Winnie) Shaw of Alread, Arkansas and sister, Margaret Elizabeth (Winnie) Smith of Humble, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Martin Emmett Winnie of Humble, Texas; mother, Helen Francis (Holliman) Winnie of Humble, Texas; sister, Lila Lorraine (Swayze) Sherman, of Humble, Texas; brother, Thomas Martin Winnie, of Humble, Texas; and brother, David Cornelius Winnie, of Humble, Texas.

Daniel was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
