Clonnie Rhea Obituary (1928 - 2023)

Clonnie Claude Rhea, known to many as Bud, was born on May 19, 1928, in Nimrod, Arkansas, and passed away on June 13 2023. Clonnie was an adventurous, resilient, smart, and talented man who embraced life's challenges with courage and determination. His love for his dog, Ginger, and his passion for travel and fishing brought joy and excitement to his life. He was a WWII veteran. Clonnie's steadfast faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior guided his steps and brought comfort to his heart. The Bible verse, Isaiah 40:31, resonated with him: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint." Clonnie is survived by his son, Donnie (Marsha) Rhea and his daughter Gloria (Danny) Maxwell 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ida Rhea ;mother of children, Wanda Jean Langford Rhea, his daughter, Denise Rehm and his sisters, Lucille Walls, Lela Mae Hoyt, Pauline Keeton, and Francis Wiley and one brother Leo Rhea. Clonnie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and knew him best. Graveside service will be Monday , June 19, 2023 at the Viney Grove Cemetery in Houston, Ar.
