Brian Blasingame

–

Conway, Arkansas

With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Keith Blasingame, affectionately known as Keith to his loved ones, on August 5, 2023. Born on March 1, 1962, in Searcy, AR, Brian was a beacon of compassion and humility, his life forever intertwined with the close-knit community of Conway, Arkansas, where he resided.

Keith was a man of few words but immense action. His loving nature was evident in his chosen profession. As a devoted construction contractor, he helped build homes and, in turn, built a legacy of dedication, hard work, and thoughtful service. A man of simplicity Keith found joy in the hum of engines and the thrill of speed, his heart forever echoing the roar of the Nascar races he so adored. His hobbies were a testament to his character - quiet, focused, and filled with an unwavering appreciation for the solitude he found in the rhythm of hard work. He lived by the words of Martin Luther King Jr., "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'"

Keith is preceded in death by his father: James Alford Blasingame, grandson: Jacob Shapard.

Keith is survived by his beloved mother and stepfather: Patricia and Edgar Reed of Vilonia, children: Steven Shapard of Colorado, Robert Shapard of Ward, Drew Shapard of Conway, LaJuana Moore of Vilonia, Katrina Moore of Greenbrier; two brothers: Adrian Blasingame of Austin, AR James Ray Blasingame of Grand Prairie, TX. Grandchildren: Matt Shapard, Logan Keith, Thomas Shapard, Michael Sharpard, Eleanor Sharpard, two nieces and three nephews along with many other family and friends. He was the pillar of their family, a role he took on with grace following the passing of his father, James Blasingame.

What mattered most to Keith was his family; he was a beacon of love and support, his humble and compassionate nature a comforting presence in their lives.

The celebration of Keith's life will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 11:00 am at Rosewood Cremation & Funeral, 438 U.S. 64 E, Conway, Arkansas, 72032. Friends and family are invited to share their memories, laughter, and love, as we remember a man who touched our lives with his quiet strength and loving heart.
