Bonita Kelly

–

Perry, Arkansas

Bonita Jean Kelly, age 78, of Perry, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2025. She was born on December 6, 1946, to Arvol and Floy Jean Bull Weaver. She lived a life filled with faith, love, a little bit of sass that kept everyone on their toes.

Bonita was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her through every season of life. She retired from Green Bay Packaging, where she worked with dedication and a strong work ethic that reflected her character. Outside of work, she found joy in country dancing, sewing, reading, and canning. She had a spirited personality, quick wit, and a sassy attitude that made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her.

Family was the heart of Bonita’s world. Her grandchildren especially cherished the time they spent with her. Saturdays were often spent shelling peas together before heading to Houston Country to country dance, creating memories filled with laughter and music. Sundays were for breakfast with Grandma, followed by church—a tradition that left a lasting imprint of love and faith on her family.

She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who taught her family the importance of faith, hard work, laughter, and togetherness. Her presence, guidance, and sass will be dearly missed but will live on in the lives of those she touched.

Bonita was preceded in death by her parents, late husband John Kelly, sister Ann Hatfield.

She is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Amy) Stone and Timmy Stone, two grandchildren Houston (Lauren) Stone and Adrianna (Jesse) Morrow, four great grandchildren Paisley, Ransom, Keithley and Ryder, a special MiMi to Colton, two sisters Rita Ivy and Jan Jones, brother Anthony Weaver. A host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

A service to celebrate Bonita’s life will be held at Cherry Hill Community Center on September 23rd from 6-8pm. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring her remarkable life and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
