Audrey Savanna Dowdy, 69, of Conway, AR passed away August 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Dowdy was born June 2, 1948 in Guy, AR to Brady Clifford and Opie Myrtle Hartwick. Audrey loved Jesus, adored her family, especially her grandchildren, religious puzzles, horseback riding, bowling, and Elvis. She had a kind heart and loved taking care of people, she never met a stranger. Audrey worked for the Conway shoe factory for a few years, she retired from Polyvend after 25 years. After retirement, she worked at Westside Station for three years, then for her son at Git-in-Split Inc. for four years. Her last job of ten years was at Wagon Wheel in Greenbrier, AR until just two years ago. She is preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, L.B. Dowdy; one son, Timmy Dowdy; one brother, Bud Hartwick; two sisters, Daisy Mercer, and Patsy Conrad.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tracy Aaron(Amanda) Dowdy of Conway, AR; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jumpy(Danita) Hartwick of Greenbrier, AR, Bogan (Patricia) Hartwick of Guy, AR; one sister and brother-in-law, Sue (Waymon) Passmore of Guy, AR; three grandchildren, James Wesley, Brandon, and Chase Dowdy; one great-grandchild, Teagan Dowdy; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at Marcelle Fielder Cafetorium in Guy, AR with Rev. Mark Glover officiating.
