Arnold Edwards

–

Morrilton, Arkansas

It is with heartfelt appreciation for a life wonderfully lived that we remember Arnold Edwards, who was born on March 14, 1942, and passed away on December 22, 2024. Arnold, a devoted husband, father, and loyal friend, was a pillar of strength and generosity at the heart of our community in Morrilton, Arkansas. His adventurous spirit and thoughtful nature were a beacon to all who knew him. Arnold lived his life with a sincerity and warmth that radiated from his core, leaving an indelible imprint on the hearts of those he touched.

Arnold was a dedicated worker at Arkansas Kraft, a local paper mill where his meticulous nature and commitment to quality were well known. He was also an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing, gardening, and mowing his well-kept lawn. Arnold had a unique knack for tinkering in his garage, always ready to lend a hand or repair something broken. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he was a dedicated husband to his wife, Lillian, and a loving father to his children, Travis, Theresa, and Cindy. Arnold was a true embodiment of 1 Corinthians 16:14 says, "Let all that you do be done in love". He was a man of faith who cherished his family and his church, making sure to raise his children with a strong love for the Lord.

Preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Sylvia Edwards, he was the last of eleven siblings. Arnold's legacy lives on through his wife, Lillian, his son Travis and wife Jenn of Little Rock, and his daughters, Theresa Sprafke and husband William of Morrilton and Cindy Bazarow and husband Jeff of El Paso, Six Grandchildren: Allen Sprafke, Jessica Mooney and husband Slade, Chassity Basarow, Charissa McVay and husband Travis, Riley Hart and Zak Larey: three great grandchildren: River and Roman Sprafke and Harper McVay, along with several nieces and nephews. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life of a man who was a true testament to the power of love, faith, and kindness.
