Alfred Carl Dohm, fondly known as Al, was born on June 14, 1941, in Waldron, MI, USA, a beacon of joy to his parents. As time etched its mark on the annals of life, Al lived a fruitful life that spanned 85 years, each year filled with unforgettable memories and a legacy of love. He was a man of faith, a member of the New Life Church, who firmly believed in the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
Alfred was a reliable pillar of strength, support, and guidance to his family and friends. His loving nature was reflected in his profound love for his family, whom he treasured above all else. He was a humble man who chose to lead a simple life, taking joy in the little things. He was a devoted husband to Sandra Dohm, whom he married on June 13, 1972. Their love story was a testament to a bond that was unwavering and eternal. After retirement, Alfred found his solace in the great outdoors. He loved fishing, boating, and camping. He was a fan of Ohio State and often enjoyed watching games with his friends and family. Alfred's life was a testament to the words of Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." His life was an embodiment of these words as he lived a life of love, generosity, and humility. As we remember Alfred, let's celebrate his life and cherish the beautiful memories he's left behind.
